Why do Ohioans have so much state pride?

I got no beef with Ohio, I just thought the whole 'O-H-I-O, state pride shyt' is lame...I've been to Ohio over 100 times, I don't see why anyone would want to rep it. I've lived in multiple other states that have more of 'rep' and those places don't scream Illinois!!! or NEW YORK STATE! and shyt like that b/c there's no reason to.

I rep Chicago b/c I've been living here for 12+ years of my life, I don't rep Illinois as a whole b/c Illinois is whack as fukk. Bunch of farms and simpleton ass nikkas.
