Why do people act like Cam'ron and Dipset aren't legends?

2). Oh Boy, Hey Ma, and Ballin' were megahits.
3). They dictated the fashion in hiphop from like 05-11 - the skull belts, scarfs, true religions, waist chains, nike boots, pink by Cam'ron and had the flyest pendant. All the rockstar-wannabe rappers, including Lil Wayne, copied them.
4). Cam'ron started the single word punchline flow that was stolen by Big Sean and popularized by Drake, on the Diplomatic Immunity album.

Growing up, Dipset and The Lox had the biggest fan base in London. And the girls also like Dipset, that puts them up there with a mega fanbase. Heck, they also signed a UK rap duo - SAS - that walked through Hot 97 and crashed the buildings with their freestyle. I don't think you'll know SAS if you're not from NY or at least the tri-state areas. Ask NY heads who're older than 25 about SAS.

Dipset just messed up because they took money from UK nikkas to do a show out here but never showed up. That were banned from the UK after that and they haven't been out here since 03 or so. If not for that, they'd still be eating in the UK.

The whole Dipset infighting affected them a lot like the rest and I think they lost their hunger after Juelz and J.R Writer got kidnapped in London. Coupled with the fact that they couldn't travel to the US for a while due to a gun charge. But they still have bars and they drop heat from time to time.

Well, it can get sticky if you don't play by the rules and once you get banned from the city by real Gs, it's over for you. Dipset didn't play by the rules and they thought it was all about tea and crumpet. But tea and crumpet kidnapped Juelz and J.R. Writer. Cam'ron was lucky someone gave him an intel and he escaped back to NY the day after he came down, his case would've been worse.
