Why do people act like Nastradamus was horrible? It's very underrated

The song "Nastradamus" did have a bad hook (a problem with the album in general, as I pointed out), but the beat is the same one used for a classic EPMD song ("Let The Funk Flow"). I don't think it was a shameless crossover attempt.

My thing is, how can a Jb's song "Monorail sample" even be considered crossover??
