People will never get the "proof" they want... they question was why ... the question wasn't asking for proof.

My point is, the universe is obviously an intelligent design by some being bigger than us.

Why not believe that "being" is God?

Yes I'm in agreement.... people always want to mix that up with you believing in some bearded God from the bible or some shyt. The proof is all around you, whether or not people want to acknowledge that is adifferent thing altogether.

Why not?

Why wait til someone tells you he exists to believe it? If you have that gut feeling it already does. Nothing is a coincidence everything is being sustained all to well.
The question is would you have that gut feeling if you hadn't been taught since childhood to believe in god?

I suspect much like the popular notions of romantic love, most "spirituality" is emotional programming.

It depends on what u think god is. If your religious u think he's human. Chilling with some hoes on a cloud eating some good BBQ. Playing the new PlayStation 89.

Its deeper than that we just can't comprehend it. We Humans are an interesting species we think we know it all. We don't know shyt compared to whats out there.

nobody taught me to beleive in God since childhood I always did.. my parents never pushed religion on me as they both had different religions.. my father is a muslim and my mom was a catholic now she's just spiritual. I had some miraculous experiences when I was younger that my next door neighbors could attest to.. so I wasn't programmed.... how about the first man to believe in God was he programmed?
