If the creators of the universe showed up, and they were just some really really advanced alien race that has been around for a trillion billion years who goes around creating galaxies and shyt, would you worship them as gods, or would you still posit that there needs to be some kind of non-corporeal entity out there?

also we take for granted just how corrupt science and academia can be at times... they cockblock each other all the time. Human nature is very compelling breh... the need to have fame, money, and to be worshipped by your peers can make you do some foul shyt to people who's discoveries will take away your shine.
But you were taught about God before you had the mentaI ability to understand what it meant, and childhood experiences are the foundation on which people grow.
Like many of the things in our childhood, we internalize them emotionally and later we rationalize them with logic.

I suppose it depends: was the first man to believe in God the same man who actually "invented" the religion(Abraham I suppose)? Or was the first believer a follower of said inventor?
Regardless, that's neither here nor there since I doubt the first man to believe in God did so from childhood.

What if "God" is just one of many cosmic architects?...who just design planets and nothing more. Kinda like a how a human creates a house....but instead of the design lasting forever it was invaded by pest that is humanity that is slowly destroying it like a infestation...like unwanted roaches.

I was only taught that there is a God, that's all breh. You can use the programming argument for anything. You need some kind of basic programming to develop your mind to the point it can logically understand more complex things.
We're all taught stuff, we even teach ourselves stuff by observation and using our five senses.. that's how we learn isn't it? Since we only have 5 senses to perceive stuff we mostly learn about the things we can perceive. This leaves out all the things we cannot perceive, which might hold the keys to some of the answers we seek. It is only recently that we've been able to research a small amount of the things our five sense cannot pick up. To me science is doesn't disprove God (maybe religious texts)at all, shyt is just an explanation on how the grand architect created all these things.
Abraham didn't invent a religion per se. All he did was believe in a single solitary creator in a time where people believed all kinds of things, no more no less.

jk, But seriously tho, its based on my personal bbuteliefs, experiences, views about life and studying so I dont expect you to understand it because you didnt have my crazy life but its whatever. I never walked in your shoes so its the same thing for you.
im not pushy about my faith and Im cool with everyone unless you are acting like an a$$hole and shoving your faith/nonfaith in my face and trying to prosectylize. That goes for fundamentalist, hardcore calvinist, strict mormons, pushy jehovah witnesses, aggressive muslims, militant atheist, etc.
Ive gotten into Facebook arguments and real life arguments with fundamentalist, hardcore mormons, atheist, agnostics, etc when they gotten to preachy towards me. We are all still friends, water under the bridge. Just live your faith and let your fellow brothers do the same.
