because the Coli is the most hypocritical place on earth.
-rapper A makes ignorant music, degrading black women, glorifying drugs, perpetuates black stereotypes.. gets called a c00n
-rapper B makes club music, with no lyrics... gets called wack, people complain about the lack of substance and lyricism in hip hop
-J.Cole/Kendrick/Chance etc bring creativity, lyricism, content, black empowerment and quality music and they get called boring and plants.

That aside, there are all kinds of dull people. Dull fake-deep people who wanna feel sanctimonious and hear "positive rap" while being obsessed with "thots", dull fake-deep people who want their hip hop as bland as possible, and then the other type of dull people that can only identify with low-quality brainless pop rap and the sipping lean/gangsta image.
All these dull people ruin hip hop, and none are better than the other. Hope that helps
