When it comes to celebrities I think they're seen as our representatives and they're also our sex symbols so when they succeed after being somewhat maligned by white people and we see them married to white people we feel the kind of disdain you get from a betrayal. It's weird, I've never felt a connection to any of them, I've rooted for them but I've never looked at them this way myself.

Im genuinely curious why it upsets some people. What about a stranger that you never met or never will meet dating out that upsets people so much? This is not about "pawg in peace" so don't even mention it. I just want to know why its so upsetting to people? I understand if the person dating out talks bad about their race but if they don't do that then what is the problem? Do people really lose sleep over people dating whoever they want lol.

Im trying to figure out if these people are actually mad about it or if they are just bored and trolling. Does it make people feel inferior or like they "owe" you something? 99 percent of the time that celebrity that is dating "out" you never had a chance with anyway.

Tell me whats really going on? Maybe its the whole presidency and racial tensions that got people feeling like this man.

I have no idea why some people have issue with who another person date/marry, but I will say this...

Whenever these topics come up, there is rarely any constructive dialogue going on. I keep reading shyt like, "well so long as he/she doesn't shyt on their own people, then blah blah blah"..

Well, we all know that in reality, those who swirl will catch vitriol regardless of their reasoning or lackthere of for doing it. It doesn't really matter why they are doing it because the mere fact that they are doing it is a crime in itself!

When you see an IR couple out and about, one doesn't know why they hooked up or how they hooked up! They are simply judged on site!

The reality is that IR couples(mainly ones with a Black partner) is held to a different set of social rules. They "have" to do it for a certain reason.

They have to have a certain mindset as if they are the only ones whose actions and lifestyle affects the social dynamic between the various ethnic groups.

I wish people would understand that in this day in age, people hook up with people for a myriad of reasons. But, at the end of the day, it is their choice to do so whether one agrees with it or not.
