I do not understand how people say the food in Paris is bad.

I don’t know what people do when they go on holiday, just find a local supermarket or corner shop? Paris literally is top 5 countries for food.

All you need to do is find a nice boulangerie if you have no idea what to eat. Bistros are another easy and cheap choice, get beef bourguignon, fries or rice. It’s real simple . Use Google maps, Reddit or something lol.

Certain parts are messy too, but that’s a western city for you. Paris has 20 arrondissements, plug them into Reddit and see which ones are off the beaten track and visit them.

Do you guys know how to travel or what?!

Tbh Germany also ain't shyt. A bunch of comments said that the lady was being passive-aggressive/sneak dissing her

best times I've had in europe were in germany and switzerland.

if you understand german culture, germans are not typically passive aggressive like the british or french. usually, if germans say something, they mean it. to an american, they don't even have a sense of humor.

but yeah, her comment in the video was definitely snarky.

This is like going to the U.S , going directly to skid row , filming it and saying "came for the culture" .

I lived for 12 years in Paris and the "filth" thing is mostly internet lore. Sure there are trash areas, but that's like any big city. Inside Paris proper most areas you would go to as a tourist are quite ok. Regarding the food, there's food from the entire world so you should be able to find what you like. Obviously, if you stay in ultra-touristic areas like Saint Michel or the Champs-Elysées area you're gonna overpay for mid to mediocre food. For example, the entire area around the Tour Eiffel isn't worth hanging around once you've seen it. Most Parisians who don't live or work in the area hardly ever go there.
I notice when Americans vacation they choose to stay in the most expensive area on top of the most well known Landmark. Do your research you don’t have to sleep in Big Ben. Everything around there is going to be hella expensive and watered down.

Even then the dried meats and sardines were the best I'd ever had, and the Italian and French wine were inexpensive. "the food was bad" like wtf are you talking about!
:what:

Yeah it’s really easy to get different and nice food there.

These are the joys of travelling for me, eat like they do!
