Why Do People Continue to Say Kendrick Did not Diss Anyone?

They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you nikkas" So this line is not a diss because he's friends with them? lol what kind of friends you n*ggas chill with.

That verse was a diss. There was absolutely nothing friendly about that verse. I can't stand these Lamar fans who stated this not a diss, this is just a record. and he wants hip-hop to get back to being about good music lol. You n*ggas clearly did not listen to the song and brainwashed by the bs!!!!!

Aside from the naming names, he didnt say anything personal about them. He basically told them to step it up. I see nothing wrong with it. A lot of dudes here, who chose to respond ASAP all half assed it just to get a response.....any response out. Now had they let it settle, took their time to write something, then responded....well then the responses would have been better IMO. The only one who really nailed IMO was Lupe.

The song wasn't about dissing anyone, it was telling them to step their game up
that may sound positive but the truth is his verse was sick because of the beat and flow not his lyrics, so even he didn't step it up while telling them to step it up. The song is a massive hit because of the beat mixed with his incredible flow.

With that said it's the king of NY that got ppl mad cuz he not from there

No he didn't, he threw shots at his baby moms, and his daughter, and said some foul ass shyt. He was pretty much antagonizing Nas until Nas came out and fukking murdered the shyt out of his entire existence. The whole song was aimed at Nas.

Then you have Kendikk's ole half assed 16 bars talmbout rappers that are considered the greats, he's the offspring of Pac and King of both coasts, and how he's homies with nikkas in the same genre as him but he doesn't really care cause he's tryna steal their fan base. It was lousy, lazy ass, half assed and a complete publicity stunt.

Well they shouldnt take it personal as in hurt feelings....the fact is none of these artists here in NY who have responded have dropped anything that can be hailed as a great project universally. The fact is there isnt even a NY sound anymore (Maino stated it better then anyone else in that Kay Slay interview)....radio here is a joke. Hot 97 and Power 105 don't break local artists anymore.....its as if they dont matter.

If any recording artists here are offended, they need to either make better music....and/or for the ones who are good artists, they need to put their feet on the necks of program directors and those who run radio.
