Not bytchy my nikka, I have been in tune to the fullest though. The nikka NEVER played D, so that clip showed has nothing to do with the subject of this thread. I just dont see it, it seems to me like everyone is jumping to a conclusion that dude is done due to the fact that he does not play much. nikkas saying he aint got no lift, I can prove that to not be true with a few highlights. Its damn near impossible to look good in minutes thats that limited, and I know fasho dude can still be a effective PF. On what level of effectiveness, I dont know.Is he? I guess I missed it

I see where the OP is coming from. 
I don't think he's DONE either. As a 20 point scoring, 30+ minute per game, all-star...yeah he's done. But he can still be a serviceable player a la Mcdyess in San Antonio and Detroit IMO. Freakish athleticism is gone but we've seen him flush on some cats this year. Young dudes at that. Yeah, he's been stuffed by some non-descript cats this year I admit. But I can chalk that up to rhythm along with the loss of athleticism. I thought the minute restriction was dumb from the gate. What da fukk you saving Stoudemire for?? The playoffs? If you can't play him more than 10 mpg in the reg season, the fukk he gonna do in the playoffs?? Play em. Burn em out. At this point you've taken your loss and he's never gonna live up to that contract. The thing with Dyess though, he had lost ALL of his athleticism at that point, dude went from bangin on nikkas to not getting in the paint at all. Amare still has a lot left, and still has great hands to catch the ball and go straight up. I think he could be wayyyy more effective than post injury Mcdyess.

meh. the "play amare more minutes" bandwagon died last year, as it should have.
So now he starts off this season with an even stricter minutes restriction (10min?)... but is complaining that he needs more minutes... lol but we just saw this exact same story breh..
and at least last year he seemed like a reinvented player with what he took away from hakeem that summer; his post game was lookin fantastic This year he just looks like a bum.
I do agree with what jeff van gundy said not too long ago tho, that playin him 5-10 mins is also pointless. At this point, its all really pointless with him... regardless of if they play him 30 mins until he's injured again or drag him along 5 mins at a time.
Stinks b/c I felt he was really tryna win in NYK and make the whole melo/chandler thing work.
- Last year they bytched at woodson whenever he played dude past the 20 somethin min restriction and so woodson kept him strictly to it. He even said the higher ups would let him know "that he messed up" if he played him any more than what was agreed upon.
- Then after the miami game last year in which amare played well but woodson kept him on the bench to finish what was a close game, they bytched at woodson for having too strict of a minutes restriction
- So RIGHT after that, as soon as woodson eases up on the minutes restriction.. within 2-3 games this muthafukka knees act up again and needs reg season ending surgery
and comes back a shell (of a shell) of himself in the playoffs.
