nah breh, im not gonna have a car where i got mileage limitations to it, and restrictions. fkkk that
I used to think the same thing fam. Until the parts for my car got harder to find. And finding a mechanic who could work on my car became hard and expensive. I love my car. It's my dream car. But I bought it too early in the game.
With uber, my bicycle, my skateboards, public transit, running, and walking I could have saved tens of thousands of dollars. I try to pretend I don't have a car. The next bill I'm going to eliminate is my 200 dollar phone bill. I stopped eating organic. I only buy things on sale now too. My coupon game is steadily building. I can't believe how much money I've wasted. It's embarrassing. I worked hella hard and the white man didn't have to work to get my money. I was young though. I will not be exploited again.
My advice fam is to not let the quality of products you own, or being the owner of the product gas you up. Rich people save money that's how they maintain wealth.
Tangent: black people are great at generating money. It's impressive. But we're bad at saving money, circulating it in our community, and we don't value economics enough to create generational wealth. Which is what we need to make progress.
