1) cali still has better stains / higher overall percentages then everywhere else still on the average.

2) Any fire you had back in the day BEFORE dispensaries most likely came from Cali so show respect

3) this happens everywhere...happened here in colorado...as soon as the dispensaries come thru motherfukkers start acting brand new like they forgot how shyt was the last 15 years. we got the best blah blah....dont disrespect cali on their weed game /thread

I visit the west coast often and been to Amsterdam a few times and BC once and there is NOTHING fukking with the weed and weed culture out in Cali.

The selection, the consistency......

Sometimes I just scroll through menus on Weed Maps while I'm smoking, see what's new.

cuz theres dispensaries every-fukking-where here. and its basically legal. theres only maybe 2 or 3 states that are weed havens like that, oregon and maybe colorado.

and even in those states theres a big number dispensaries only in certain cities, theres one within an hour from pretty much everyone in cali. and the quality of weed>>>>>>>quality of weed from dealers

Thread reminds me of an MTV special I seen back in 01-02 and this one drug dealer/smoker in NY was on there with stress talkin about "out here everything is considered chronic"

Most people don't really know shyt about weed (not saying there's anything wrong with that) but you'd never get away with calling some dirt brown ass weed "chronic" in Cali.

Man, that is BULLshyt. I remember that episode. He was smoking regular aged herb, not chronic. Back then chronic was real strong, tasty, and pretty herb. I used to get it in jars. 1-2 puffs, and you were flying. That was rare though, considering how big NYC is. NYC had regular herb unless you went to washington heights, and even then it wasn't touching the shyt I got in the jars. The people who had the real strong shyt, were the white folks in manhattan.

I will say this the best herb I ever had, was some dirt looking stuff from either Jamaica, some other caribbean island or somewhere in Africa. That shyt would make my brain feel like it was floating, and tickling. It's hard to describe, but it was the shyt. After the first puff, my brain felt like it was rising in my head, and becoming weightless. I thought it was just me so I kept it to myself, until my friend said the same thing the second time we smoked it. That shyt was so strong, the first time I smoked it I forgot where I was walking to , and where I was at, and it was MY NEIGHBORHOOD. Once I started thinking, everything came to me, but I felt like I was in a dream just walking around listening to music. If I was to post a picture of the herb I would get laughed at hard, but trust me NOTHING was touching it, and still hasn't. I say that so people don't go by how pretty herb is, to determine how potent the herb is.

BTW, Montreal is a spot that is slept on for having good herb.

cali is not even on growing strains anymore, we're on some cross breeding cannabinoid type shyt. In other words we breed almost microscopically to get different pinpoint effects for specific diagnosis. we're just on another level at this point.

I was with you until you posted this. The main reason for crossbreeding was for those reasons in the first place, besides how the plant grows(height, yield). You have all these "strains" because of cross breeding. The crossbreeding of indica, and sativas produced what we see now, Ruderalis(automatic flowering) are now the new thing.

Well yea that too. but we also analyze the effects each strain has. that way we know what to 'prescribe medically' for each 'patient'

i understand what OP means. and yes, "kush," "sour," "purple.." etc are all available all over the country now. i have a steady supply of it all here in nyc. but i'll also be the first to admit that stuff is all grown, harvested, manicured and handled (whatever the process is) much better in cali than anywhere else in the country. shyt even w access to nyc varieties of the same buds (and similar prices) i still have my boys from cali ship me packages of dispensary tree all the time. it's just, i don't know... better . the smell, the taste, the potency, the high, everything about it. if the "loud" i'm getting here is an 8, the same variation from cali is a 10. i wish that weren't the case but currently it is .

now let's discuss this oil because i just got my first pen . once i lock up a steady supply of refills here in nyc i don't see myself going back to regular tree again.

Cali has the best strains because all the growers are still concentrated there its not even a matter of the quality of weed...its the amount of growers.

Colorado and Michigan are the only states ANYWHERE close from what I have heard from smokers who have been to these places. Washington has ok tree, but growing isn't as normal there from what i hear.

Michigan i would say is about 3 or 4 years from full legalization....lord knows we need the tax money.

thats not true at all. a lot of weed comes in from Canada and a lot of weed is also grown locally. i hear on the news all the time of illegal growing operations getting taken down in the Western part of my state
