Dont make it so deep. The answer is because, its all relative to who you see around you. I call myself brownskin. Light spanish ppl think im dark, darkskin bp think im light.
Incidentally, wp also consider me brownskin. I think they be clocking us more than we know.
Yup. To me, "dark skin" = dark brown. If you're dark brown and darker, you might think milk chocolate, caramels and red folks are "light skinned"
Also, to me, light skinned = yellow(ish) + more ambiguous looking (many medium types consider themselves "dark skinned" when comparing themselves to "true" light skins)
If you fall between those 2 extremes, you're a shade of medium (this includes "reds," "caramelish," and "milk chocolates"")
