nah most of the world doesn’t speak any one language. most people listen to the president through translation.

English is spoken worldwide by more ppl than any other language.

Most ppl listen to the president of the United States and they understand him because they speak English.

If we wanted to understand Xi or Putin through the use of a translator, we could. We just choose not to cause deep down we don't care about them cause 9 times out of 10, they aint affecting our lives.

It's just the opposite in other nations. For example, just look at the coli. Look how many brehs from other nations are always weighing in on American politics. They know everything thats happening in America while we don't know and don't even care to know whats happening in their country.

We don't even pay attention to their politics because they are so low on the totem pole compared to us, while they pay attention to everything that happens in America because we are the apex predator in world geopolitics.

most people dont speak english. theres like 1.3 billion english speakers. being the most spoken doesn’t mean most of the world speaks it.

the language has no relevance, the president could be speaking in estonian and he wouldn’t be any less powerful.

Because if shyt gets real people will get behind the President
and he can do damn near anything he wants. I don't think people get how powerful we are as a country.

I disagree. If people are flocking to learn your language more than any other language, then that right there is a symbol of your status and power. That right there is an example of your influence.

And i like how you said "1.3 billion" as if that ain't a lot. And that number is growing more and more everyday.

How many more ppl are projected to learn English within the next decade?

I bet you it's much much much more than the number of ppl projected to learn Chinese or Russian.

If the president of the United States was speaking Estonian, there would be 1.3 billion ppl speaking Estonian and that would be the language projected to be learned most throughout the world.

you can have influence in your circle n not outside of it and use force to balance out the vacuum of influence. this what they do...

the blueprint of military coups...

most people enjoy the comforts of stability not chaos. most anarchists are unhinged and have nothing to lose if they disrupt the order of things. a person with a career, family and things to lose is not going to be the loose nut. so majority of people chose to believe in the established order and following due diligence because after all the thing you are fighting for still has to be there in the end. the ones that want to take control and circumvent process by any means don't care if everything burns to the ground that is why they are the fringe most players.

Malcom and Martin always had influence even when they didn't have power which is why they were assassinated.

Mandela had influence most of his life from behind a cell with no power
...

Breh, force is power. What are you talking about? If I can get what I want from most ppl through my influence and then get what I want from the remaining ppl through force, that's power. The hell? :dahell:

I'll give you the point that Mandela had influence without as much power.

I'll agree that it's possible to have influence and no power. But it's not possible to have power and not have influence.

1.3 billion isnt really that much. for comparison mandarin is 1.1 billion. these are small numbers next to the worlds population.

i dont think english prevalence is just due to american political or economic power either. remember the british empire colonized a quarter of the world and so huge countries like india and nigeria have a lot of second-language english speakers or use english as a language between different ethnic groups who have their own native languages. of course american political, economic and cultural power are huge factors also but not the only ones.

and your point about how 1.3 billion people would learn estonian again just proves that the english language itself doesn’t matter. the power of his position is more important.

edit: this might all seem like a trivial thing to argue about but im trying to make the point that the “soft power” of a widely-spoen language isn’t important in the way that the president’s “hard power” (:dame:) is

You're making my point now. I only brought up English to emphasize the importance of the president's position and power.

I didn't say he was powerful because ppl speak English. I said ppl speak English because he's powerful.

billionaires pick the laws, they use agencies to disrupt countries to become billionaires in the first place and those agencies can and have been used against the president
