Why do people on The Coli seem out of touch or hate anything that’s popular

It's a very unique forum because of that. A lot of these people y'all arguing back and forth with every day are in their late 30's/early 40's and have been around since SOHH in the early 2000's.

And honestly just judging by your response I'd wager a guess you fall in line with that

Funny thing is you don’t even have to hit up a nite spot to see people smoking hookah. I’ve prolly seen more hookah being smoked by people in houses than anywhere else. That means these nikkas don’t even get invited places

Yes thecoli is very out of touch for various reasons

1. A lot of older posters
2. Posters who don't get out much
3. Posters who believe they're some kind of gate keeper or authority
4. Posters who talk out their ass and are too proud to admit their ignorance
5. Posters who have an agenda

I'm blown away sometimes at some of the things people are willing to say and back up with extreme arrogance while not knowing what they're talking about and just be willing to keep going.
