The past couple of times I've been to Golden Corral (family dinners, not my choice) the food ranged from
to
......and I still left semi-hungry. It was like 1 size fits all, for food.
You say, "well it's ALL YOU CAN EAT
...and there's a variety of food!!!"
Very true, it is both of those. But, how much can you eat to justify that $15? And tho there is a variety, all of the food doesn't taste how it SHOULD taste. Example, a steak at Golden Corral doesn't exactly taste like a well-prepared steak should. So that sort of negates that point.
Not even needing to go high class, you can go to Cheddars or TGI Fridays, etc and get MORE than enough food for $15 to fill you up. And it can be healthier.
I guess if you have kids you can take them to Golden Corral and not have to worry about them not finding something they want. But all they're gonna likely get is french fries or chicken strips, ice cream etc....which you can get elsewhere.
