Why do people pay $15 for places like Golden Corral?

I fukkin' DESPISE buffets. There is absolutely nothing good about food kept out in the open where multiple ppl reach their hands over them and they all uses the same utensils to get the food.

I wouldn't eat there if it were free.

Whats the point of hiding the food during an inspection? Aren't they surprise inspections? Not that I don't believe the vid, but whats the point.
