Why do people pay $15 for places like Golden Corral?

i was with my mentally disabled clients. They were mad hype to go and my job forced me to take them.

I dont think we really have them out here. but, I'm not really that big into buffets. I don't need to be having a bottomless supply of food.
I remember going to old country buffet back in the day, and it was always just mediocre.

My cousin used to work there when we were in high school and he would either let me eat free or nearly free all the time. From what I remember it was good. Years later I went to another one and it was trash. Another time I went to another one when I was doing a defensive driving course and they gave us free food and it was good. I haven't eaten there in like five years but I guess it depends on which location you visit and time of day you go.

Goldern corral be musty, and it be white nasty people everywhere and mexicans.... and the food stink.
The food has no flavor..... aint nothing in Golden Corral "good as fukk", it's only stuff there that is nasty, or just straight.
Now, I've been to some chinese buffets that have amazed me.
I've been to a really really REALLY nice one, it was huge and looked like a 5 -star restaurant. They had ponds, fish, waterfalls, music, and everything... it was crazy 
The food was out of this world. It was chinese food, Japanese, American, Soul Food, BBQ, etc etc etc....

My grandma insisted on going there when she was alive. There and Old Country Buffet. fukking poverty food. Even the meat tastes likes struggle

Lol at posters feeling slighted that people don't like Golden Corral. It's low quality cheap Buffet food. Besides not everyone has the same tastes.

Very true, it is both of those. But, how much can you eat to justify that $15? And tho there is a variety, all of the food doesn't taste how it SHOULD taste. Example, a steak at Golden Corral doesn't exactly taste like a well-prepared steak should. So that sort of negates that point.
Not even needing to go high class, you can go to Cheddars or TGI Fridays, etc and get MORE than enough food for $15 to fill you up. And it can be healthier.
I guess if you have kids you can take them to Golden Corral and not have to worry about them not finding something they want. But all they're gonna likely get is french fries or chicken strips, ice cream etc....which you can get elsewhere.
But me and my homie go there to holler at the fine ass little ethiopian chicks that work there
We actually went out with a few. She still wont give me her number but she came and hung out with the brehs and brought a friend. Seems like she might have a man so i understand
