if you want them to continue making good music then you should probably support them or they might just quit and get and office job....
Not really. If you want to support go see them in concert. They are getting pennies from cd sells and streams

Regardless of the reasons, be thankful that people still pursue the legal route. If everyone pirated, a greater effort would be made to penalize pirates. It's all fun and games until ISPs start sending out cease and desist emails/letters and throttling/suspending connections. It's all fun and games until people get hit with copyright infringement charges and start hearing about fines and jail time. :francis: The last thing we need is a greater effort to stop piracy. :aicmon:

False. ISPs have sent out millions of emails, but those are just "insurance calls" in case some shiit goes down they have it on record that they warned you. They won't do anything. I have gotten those for years and nothing has come of it. They are not dumb because if they did that so many people would leave them and they would lose money. AT&T won't risk losing customers.

I'm well aware of things like Comcast's "six strikes" measure and how they count for nothing. However, the main implication was that if more people were to start pirating, actual measures would be put into place. I hope you don't seriously believe that the distributors/copyright owners would see a large spike in piracy, to the point where virtually no one bothered to purchase legally, and just sit around and do nothing. This is coming from someone who routinely uses more than 2TB in bandwidth each month, purely for uploads. I'd like to keep it that way. :francis:I for one salute all those who continue to pursue the legal means.
