Pac was a thug
Orlando was a gangsta

It stops here.

Pac punched a gangsta which is gangsta in itself.

Plus did Orlando ever shoot two cops for bothering an unarmed black man:patrice:?

Pac was a revolutionary and a gangsta:pachaha:

Revolutionaries>>>gangsters in all walks of life. So I can't recieve your point as an insult.

Nas was just a lyricist who stayed out of trouble because Jungle was his bodyguard, and trouble was bought to him because he was a top lyricist. No diss,if Pac had Nas temprement he would be the living goat instead of just being THE GOAT. Then again being THE GOAT is much better in terms of legendary status. But we would rather him be alive, and just be one of the best to ever do it like Nas is.

Can't disagree.

Pac wasn't a gangster. Not saying he was p*ssy, he just wasn't a street dude.

Nas was always a rapper. Never a street dude. He was 17, already with GOAT level rap skills. That lets you know his teenage years were mostly him mastering writing and rapping, not trying to be a thug.

I definitely believe a lot of aspiring rappers do little crimes here and there for credibility purposes lol.
there is a difference between a street dude and a thug. Nas was definitely a street dude.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
it all started with pac
nas said he left the hospital the same night in the message and pyscho man tupac thought that meant he was trying to be like him:mjlol:

despite the fact that pac was re-making his songs, and pac wasn't even a gangsta in his own right, pac stans believed him.

Then mega made 200 rap songs rapping about how he sold more drugs den nas and caught more bodies den nas (which is true, but proves nothing. nas never said he was a bigger gangster den mega, nikka was arguing with himself)

jay-z used that tupac ammo in takeover years later and jay-z stans who are mad he got bodied, bring it up

nas was always the low key street poet that did his little dirt here and there, but was surrounded by killers.
it wasn't so much that... cause everything you said is correct.. it's the stark differences that nas goes through

illmatic was him being him... then all the sudden it's not just drug dealer raps... it immediately escalates into nas escobar and tales of him being super nikka... people expecting illmatic nas and got flashy drug dealer nas

nas himself doesn't talk much. so when it comes to his life, you pretty much base it off what he says in illmatic and what others have said who knew him. that whole escobar guy just came out of thin air. and i think a lot of fans AND associates, wasn't feeling that shyt

using jay as an example, since you brought him up.. jay been talking that same money, fly, drug dealer, slick talk since forever... even rapping fast he was talking that shyt... even now on 4:44, he still talk that shyt.. he never changed his persona up so abruptly

here's another example... busta rhymes. he was fun party nikka... rough raps when he wanted.. smack fire out you... maybe gun bust you... then out of nowhere, all his raps is about coke and moving weight and diamond heists... it's like, "who the fukk is this guy now"

the ether
From what I understand he never claimed to be a huge factor in the streets, just did some dirt like most these rap nikkas who be fronting like they was kingpins. But I stay seeing mfs talk about how he watched the shyt that happened to people in his hood from a project window and wrote about it

Not every word written is autobiographical. Whether that is songs, movies, tv shows, etc.

It's some weird knock that people ran with for him that really doesn't make much sense.

Next you see people gonna be calling Eminem a fake cause he didn't actually kill his wife, maul Pamela Lee Anderson and rape Iggy.

Nas was on interviews from early on saying that he was more a watcher than a banger on the streets.

Pac really the one who should be catching this, he was surrounded by intellectuals and going to art school growing up, then invented thug life in his 20s. :yeshrug:

You stans really got no appreciation for black music if you can't listen to hip hop from a creative lyric side. Only dumb nikkas thinking that oh buddy gotta be super criminals going hard all the time....old heads don't nor ever did think like that.
