And while Nas ain't some super thug, he's still a dude from one of the wildest hoods ever who can get busy if need be...proven by pullin a strap on DJ Envy and supposedly besting NORE when they scrapped

Nas my favorite rapper of all times, but i ain't never heard about him being a fighter. Everybody who was close to him and started beefing with him have said that he's soft and it was Jungle who always got into fights. Where did you hear that he beat up Noreaga? Did they get into it because Nore said Nas ain't never been in a fist fight?

I heard it on the internet, of course. This is the flowerpot incident. Basically Nas got on the radio and said a bunch of dudes had wack albums, Nore being one of them. Then at some party Nore came up to Nas and Kelis and tried to toss a flowerpot at him, but supposedly didn't connect. Nas then supposedly got a couple good punches on Nore before the shyt got broken up or whatever. I say supposedly cuz I obviously wasn't there and am just goin off net gossip, but this is what people said.

There's another time when Nas supposedly smacked another dude in a club with a bottle. That one was reported in the news. So point being, Nas is a more mellow levelheaded dude in general, but being from a hood as rough as his, he's prolly still had his share of wild out moments. He ain't as wild as his brother, but that doesn't mean he can't handle himself.

Nas was always a rapper. Never a street dude. He was 17, already with GOAT level rap skills. That lets you know his teenage years were mostly him mastering writing and rapping, not trying to be a thug.

I definitely believe a lot of aspiring rappers do little crimes here and there for credibility purposes lol.

The World, but from BK
Nas seems like a real calm dude, so maybe there never was a reason for him to throw the hands when he was younger.

As far as hustling, he pretty much breaks it down on his verse here:

nas was always a street dude which isn't exactly the same thing as a gangster.

:mjlol: but nah, really. Nas was in the street.

It's just a big difference in Jungle type in the street and Nas in the street.

Illmatic just made it better/worse cause all of QB embraced or hated Nas. Sometimes at the same time.
