No joke but there's this weird perception that online is "better" on XBL though there is no hard data to back that up... I noticed this because people tend to associate last gen's online component with Xbox and now Xbox One came out and it failed to capture the audience like it did last time.
I'm looking at the BF4 stats and it's crazy how much more people are playing it on PS3 and 4.
Then to add insult to injury, there is literally MORE online MP games on PS4 than Xbox One.
You have KZ, BF4, COD, Blacklight Retribution, Resogun, Ass Creed, sports titles, Watch Dogs, TLOU this month, Driveclub soon, LBP3, Planetside 2, HZ1(that dayz looking game), Final Fantasy XIV, Towerfall Ascension(Local MP is piff) and on and on. Also Destiny will be better on PS4 with it being the lead platform for the game. Not to mention the abundance of FTP and indie online games that just will stretch this list out even further which will further prove my point that PS4 has literally too much games to play that are online too. All this "Xbox got more games" crap is propaganda pure and simple. How is ONE game that's faded to black like a Jay flick all that's needed?? Who the fukk still plays Titanfall??
Meanwhile on the Xbox side of things it's just the same multiplat titles minus the FTP, indie and exclusives wrapped up in a struggling package(Lower framerates, worst graphical effects, lower resolution etc.)
The biggest online hurdles PSN needed is here on PS4 now and they work better. All I'm hearing is friends list issues on Xbox One and other crap like party chat crashing etc etc.
Yea PSN has scheduled maintenance from time to time but come on it seems to still work, only the store is inaccessible and that's usually for a very brief time.
Last gen Xbots had a point with XBL clearly being an advantage but nowadays when nikkas try to use that "XBL is better" talking point I can't help but to laugh. XBL costs more, still has paywall apps, inferior game access incentives(Repeat games
) and has the same features as it's rivals.
TL:DR, PSN is better than XBL now. I know it's some nikkas that's probably furious right now but
that's just my observations. I'm saying this is a long standing customer of XBL and after having an epiphany, I had to respectfully cancel my subscription to something that proved to be redundant. If you can't post a coherent response other than

COD is more popular on Xbox as well 
. I cannot remember a day with my Ps4 when i couldn't access online though i can remember PLENTY of issues with xbl. Halo 4 launch, titanfall launch, there was once this time xbl was down in an entire part of the country from specific ISP's.
