When folks first smoke cigs,there is a hie attached to it . But only when u first start . After that, all you are doing is f really following other smokers, trying to fill that void.

The same reason people eat red meat and pizza, knowing fully well that it fukks up your colon and gives you heart disease. Or raw dog randoms without condoms. They know it's detrimental to their overall well being, but their want of self gratification and self indulgence overrides good decision making...

They smoke cigs cause they addicted to the nicotine and there isn't a viable option for Mass consuming nicotine that has caught on as yet and I doubt there ever will be in this century short of a new world order,

It's beyond mental with them and they go through withdrawals if they can't get that fix. Even the ones I know who switched to E-Cigs we're complaining about how low/weak the content was and eventually slid back to lighting up Cigs.
When a smoker tells you "Don't smoke I can't quit even if I wanted to", they ain't trying to be courteous, it's a dire warning you should heed.

Different smokers, different mindsets/outlooks.
You got the type that wanna stop smoking and they may for a bit until they either fall back into the habit through stress, weak will or simply smelling they fave brand (Travelled with a broad who had ''port-puri" in a napkin she held up to her nose in airports whenever she smelled smoke) on some second hand shyt.
They the health conscious ones you'd often see Express remorse about the shyts, but the folks that go through 2 lighters a day don't give a red, ripe, fukk and enjoy every square the same way the both of us enjoy every joint we light up.
Before Hurricane Irma/Maria last year, I was sorta wondering if I'd ever stop smoking weed or could quit since all my weekends were spent puffing dro with hardly a missed week, but I went a solid Two months and didn't even Jones for a joint despite having a whole ounce of Gorilla Glue stashed in my fukked up room.
shyt ain't like that for cig smokers. Also, of you health conscious about ya lungs and all that smoke, try a dry herb vape like I did. If done right, shyt hits just as hard (More sometimes), it's vapor as opposed to smoke and you can puff discreetly damn near anywhere. From Cruiseships to Restaurant bathrooms.

Only time I smoked was when I was drunk or already high off something else. Never really understood what would make you wanna smoke one sober
