I was told about the rumor when I was in 6th grade(2001). I asked my moms about it and after that she stopped buying TH for all of us.
I used to be dressed all the way down in Hilfiger.
What I was confused about is why did it take so long for him to finally acknowledge it hisself on oprah?

He didn't just donated....He was ACTIVE MEMBER of getting other huge conglomerates to donate to the cause. Actions can be discounted.

but many wealth racist white throughout history have created majority of your HBCU's of today. They would do things like this to clean up their public image.
