Dre is better than Kanye, Dre has made classic music that supersedes Kanye's and he is a better rapper in many aspects. Lol at body, I saw that too battle too, it was a small sparring session between friends, it wasn't that serious lol, it was a freestyle battle off the top, anything can happen in that, that's hardly some display of skill, Kanye might have had that ghostwritten too though lol. Plus Common wants them Kanye beats, probably went easy on him lol. I'm joking but it wasn't no big deal and doesn't make him a battler at all. Mm, I don't care about that line lol, Dre has NUMEOUS songs better than any Kanye song.

It was friendly but a battle nonetheless, Com did get bodied and he's a guy who I consider one of the 10 greatest rappers ever. I know Dr. Dre ain't going in a booth with Common and edging him at all.

Did you see Kanye's freestyle at Fat Beats in '96, Kanye can spit much better than Dre can, he's relied on ghostwriters less (Kanye's allegations are exaggerated), actually wrote more classic songs. Dre has a dope delivery, every other MCing aspect goes to Ye. Not to mention in terms of being an MC (master of the ceremony), live performance Kanye is one of the best.
Kanye's not a top 10 MC but Dre ain't seeing him that's crazy. Imagine The Chronic 2001 without the ghostwriters that ranged from Jay-Z, to Snoop, to Nas and Eminem.

It was a friendly light hearted battle, I've beaten 2 exceptional Mc's in a freestyle battle, that doesn't make me better than them. I never said no skill is involved either. Common's better than Kanye.....
The Chronic is better than all Kane's albums though....
To me putting Kanye with the best rappers ever is like putting Dr. Dre there.

True but Kanyes first album came out when you were 5.. No rapper that debuted when I was 5 was considered the voice of my generation...
I'm not saying you're wrong. I heard Kanye tell Jimmy Kimmel he was the coolest figure at a 14 year olds birthday party.. It's just weird and shows how stagnant pop culture has become in the past 15 years..
