Why do people try to say TLOU has shallow gameplay?

Those points echoed everything I said in this thread. Repetitive combat scenarios that require limited strategy.

Extremely linear gameplay with limited exploration, and a disconnect between the story/gameplay.

Like i said y'all Are just totaly unable to see any criticism of the game. Which begs the question, why in the hell did you make the thread in the first place?
Those "points" are easily refuted. Just because someone published them online in an article doesn't make them valid.
Extremely linear gameplay lol. "Linearity" is a good fallback claim when you can't make up good points. Disconnect between story and gameplay. You're grasping for straws here. You are truly a terrible poster when it comes to making sense of anything. "Disconnect between the story/gameplay." :russ:
Shut up. thread over.
@Kodie delete this thread it's run it's course.

IThe game looks less impressive compared to say assassins creed pc version. It's linear as hell.
Once again can't hide from your own hypocrisy.

I'm supposedly sneaking around, yet my companion is stil walking and talking around like normal, and the enemies don't notice.

My companion is telling me some heart wrenching shyt, but I'm not listening and nowhere near her cause I'm off scavanging bullets.

The cutscenes pretend that every life is important. In the gameplay I kill hundreds of faceless goons.

Yes there is a HUGE disconect between the story and gameplay. No matter how much you pretend it's not there.

I found the gameplay much more enjoyable on survivor, you have to use whatever you can find at the time, which may be almost nothing

black love, unity, and music
Even as shallow as you THINK it is, it is still better than any exclusive game released on the xbox 360 or xbox one.

At no point during the game do ever get the feeling that Joel thinks "every life is important". It's the exact opposite. You have no clue what you're talking about
:stopitslime: in no point during the game did you get the sense that he's Rambo either.

The entire story revolves around survival and the preservation of life, emotional attactchments.

The gameplay resolves around killing everything that moves.

" we only do terrible things because we have no other choice" in the cutscenes.

"Kill everything that walks" in the gameplay

Lol dude is trolling so hard. There's absolutely NO point in the game whatsoever where Joel seems to show remorse for anybody in the game. Passionate and Joel can't be in the same sentence. :skip: I don't even know why I made this thread with a dishonest character like him roaming the forums. I'd have a better time posting this on facebook.

Honestly, what joy do you get out of looking like an idiot for hours of a day?
