Why do poor people constantly try to convince themselves and others that money doesn't buy happiness. These people sound so salty it doesn't even make sense. If money doesn't buy happiness why are poor people always so salty, ive never met a single rich person that is saltier than a poor person, that shyt is beyond ridiculous.

Sometimes people actually mean it when they try to down play the value of money and materials, but sometimes it's simply people trying to make themselves feel better about their own mediocrity.
