Why do quotes mess up when you try to edit them?

@cook basically if you make a quote, submit the post, go back to edit it, that ^^ will pop up.​

@cook you have to use the + Multiquote function and put something in the quotes. Then when you go back and try to edit it it messes up.​

It only happens on created quotes i.e. not quotes made from quoting a user.

Yeah you're doing it wrong. Use the "+" function to "insert multiquote" then go back and try to edit the post.

Something I noticed is that if you create a quote and add a name after the Quote tag, it won't break when you edit it later.

For example:

This quote won't mess up.

^^This one I didn't add a name to the quote tag e.g. [QUOTE-xxxxx].....​

I guess this is a workaround.

Personally Id like to see your quoting priveledges revoked. All that stannery spamming the uncharted thread with random quotes from so and so on neogaf is straight
