Why do rappers do WSHH Exclusives?

What's the benefit of it for the artist? WSHH obviously gets the traffic, but the (established) artist would likely have the same clicks whether it was on his own YT page or theirs

they ain't doing it for free... anytime you see the word exclusive... somebody got paid for it


you still get paid off youtube hits... so yea i'd pay ross a nice bag to have his video nowhere else on the net by my page.... that 1 million views gonna get me a nice check and more clicks on my other videos for more checks
