Honestly, sometimes the job you want ends up making you more famous than you want to be.

Like, if I could direct movies/tv shows and make a couple million a year - but at the same time still be able to walk outside like a normal person, I would.

It's hard to get a very high paying job that you like, while still having great family relationships.

That’s why I find those comments about people being starved for attention when they are young being the reason they want fame shortsighted. Sometimes, it’s really just a case of what you do that makes you famous, nothing to do with your past or some negative memories that created this opportunity or necessity. Some people just do work that involves them being higher profile than others...

Like someone in here mentioned a lot of the time it’s what you do that makes you famous... People who are extremely good at their jobs accumulate fame pretty easy within the environment of that job. So most people put the cart ahead of the horse and assume that fame must mean expertise, and thus if they are famous then they’re professionals deserving of clout.

Depends on the purpose of fame. You can be famous for being a humanitarian -- helping others out for a cause. You can be famous for a invention to make others lives convenient for their wellbeing. You can be famous for networking with other powerful people more access to a quality lifestyle. You can be famous for mastering a skill/craft and teaching those who want to gain expertise.

With great power comes with great responsibility. Letting the ego get consumed by the clout and the fame is how a person loses their power. Being a influencer/celebrity isn't all glitters. Getting women, getting invited to parties/trips and luxuries...doesn't sound too bad.

Being wealth gives more access and freedom. The con of being wealthy is people asking for handouts, fake friends, wolves targeting you but again it's how you present yourself out there. People who flex their money is just waiting to get robbed
