i been hearing that for 20 years
Brooklyn didn't get gentrified in a day.i been hearing that for 20 years
Brooklyn didn't get gentrified in a day.This. The i think the OP is confusing the hood with the city.:mjpalm:The city and the hood are not the same thing. Even burbs can be "the hood."
Bruh I saw so much bad in the hood coming up, I am glad I live on a boring, relatively peaceful side of Chicago now. I go down two blocks and i'm in my old neighborhood
The jobs in the hood....scarce and low paying. I wasn't able to get real work till I got a car and moved around, you guessed it, to other parts of the city and in the burbs.
Brooklyn had a strong Jewish community before the gentrification.Brooklyn didn't get gentrified in a day.
Why do so many broke brehs pretend they'll never leave the hood even if they start banking?
And why do so many brehs pretend they still live there after they get their come up?
And dont say crime cuz if u mind ur business , dont be around hot spots and are not involved in the street politics u will be fine.
Why do so many people from the hood move to the suburbs the first chance they get?
.
So you think that living in the city is the hood?![]()
