Technology made misogyny go down by a considerable amount tbh. Misogyny existed back in the day because most men viewed women as useless and a burden. They had periods that were messy so a lot of men were
at the sight of that period blood (no tampons existed back then). A lot of the jobs back then involved manual labor, women suck at manual labor for obvious reasons. As a result they were relegated to second class citizens . This is also why fathers couldn't wait for their daughters to get married off so that they could get rid of her (daughters were seen as a burden since they couldn't help out as well with farming etc. compared to a man). I'm not saying it was right but humans gonna human. With the advent of technology women have it easy tho.
