Is The Coli filled with narcissistic humble brag type stuff or is it more about discussing a wide range of topics?

You're never gonna convince me its the same. For one, half the threads that get made on here and half of the things that get said on here wouldn't be said on Facebook because people wouldn't post anything public that would make them look stupid, which goes back to my original point.

Honesty, social media brings us closer together with people that would otherwise be out of sight out of mind.

I can post a status about how I'm constipated and one of my medically educated buddies in the know can see that and give me a few tips and tricks on getting over it in the comments section.

If you're having a bad day, mention it and watch your friends give you positive messages and phone calls.

Hell, if you need a job and have a good social network you can get an offer in less than a week by simply asking for one in a status update or two.

I swear, are telling on themselves in this thread. Revealing themselves as the hatefilled basement dwelling nerdlinger losers that they desperately pretend not to be when hiding behind a screen name.

Also, for many of the loser types that populate forums social media is a constant reminder of the harsh reality that they're not doing so hot in their lives.

It's easy to log into The Coli, troll some threads and feel like you've accomplished something.

It's a lot harder to feel that way when your old college buddy is posting about the new position they landed or their overseas honeymoon while you're wasting away, sitting on your ass, wallowing in a sea of cum soaked paper towels, empty bottles of Mountain Dew and crumpled up Cheetos bags.
