"I don't need that surgery"

"I don't need that medicine"

"I don't need to change my diet"

"I don't need to rest"

:mindblown:

This muthafukka took on years of training and school and over 100k in debt and you won't listen to them at all? :wtf:

nikkas who barely graduated high school tryna tell a doctor what's right:wtf:

Muhfukkas who ain't never even read a medical journal thinkin they know more about medicine and treatment than the muthafukka who spent their entire life from 18-30 on it:wtf:

Listen to y'all damn doctors, I don't care what that old ass nikka with a Cadillac in the front yard told you

He's not wrong, the internet has a wealth of information now. Now the issue would be how much reasearch did you do before making your diagnosis. Do you know the difference between pain types, med reactions, changing symptoms, etc.

Most people click on the link, read a paragraph and go "yup that's it!" and get overzealous with their limited information. On that point I agree with you.

It needs to be balanced, you need to make it a team effort with your doctor as support. My doc knows I look everything up and we'll hash out a game plan. They tell me up front costs, drug reactions, doses, etc. You gotta build trust really.

I grew up having that opinion too. As a young person.

As I got older i saw that medicine is a hustle, no different from anything else where money is involved. A hospital is like a police precinct. You got like 1 Jake Hoyt and 57 Vic Mackeys. So now i'll say something related to medicine and the new "young person" will hear me say what I say and think "why does this nikka think he knows more than doctors?" It's something that comes with age.

Secondly,

Some cases though the doctor is on point, and some people are just stubborn :manny:

and here's the second tard. if only all these medical students knew about this thing called the 'internet' that saves you all the years of study and learning where you can just 'look up symptoms' and cure people. someone should alert them at once to save them time and money.

You clearly didn't read the rest of my post. I ment to say he wasn't completely right. The tard comment wasn't needed, I never assume a doctor is right or wrong. Just healthy skepticism. Like I said, I work with my doctor as a team.

You guys in med school or something? Took this way personal.
