Lol @ doctors. They study medicine and drugs. THey don't know shyt most of the time about nutrients and natural remedies. nikkas healng themselves of diseases and shyt all over the world by shamans and herbalists yet over here Doctors running game using bullshyt outdated Cac methodologies that merely mask the symptom.

I'm good.

Me, eating healthy food and taking my herbs/detoxes periodically=10 years strong never had to go to hospital and the amount of times I've felt sick to the point that I called out of work is probably once or at all a year.

:russ:The amount of ignorance in this thread. Many people who don't believe in modern medicine are doing one thing wrong. Relying on belief. You might not believe that the sky is blue but guess what...:krs:it is!
What happens when you get a virus? Do you have a microscope?:jbhmm: Can you identify and differentiate microscopic organisms? What happens when you get cancer or an STD? Will a herb ointment or tea save you? Please use facts and not belief brehs, some of you are embarrassing.

Cancer patients who use alternative medicine die sooner
What's the harm in alternative medicine?

I never assume a doctor is right or wrong. Just healthy skepticism.
Absolutely. That's why you get second and third opinions on things. Being a MD doesn't mean you're smart. Ben Carson was a neurosurgeon but one of the dumbest mother fukkers out there.

Theres an old saying that isnt specific to doctors but anything involving knowledge -

Knowing is best, not knowing is ok because you can learn, but a little bit of knowledge is deadly because you dont know enough but think you do.

If you think you know whats wrong and how to treat it no doctor can force you to come to them. Just dont expect some magic cure when your in the emergency room dying from ignorance more than whatever condition your admitted for.

I know more than most Doctors when it comes to treating chronic ailments.

No one knows your body better than you do. Basically I use the Doctor for the following:

- Ordering Blood Tests
- Getting Rx when needed

That's it. Your PCP can't help you with shyt other than that.

Now specialists are a different story completely. Dermatologists are actually useful if you have recurrent skin problems such as acne. Podiatrists are expensive as fukk but can actually give good sound medical advice.

Dietitians can actually help you formulate a plan to lose weight. But unfortunately those visits are not covered by most medical insurance plans. WHY? Because America wants you to stay fat, sick and close to death.

Lastly ultimately it's up to you as a patient whether you want surgery or not. Some things can be taken cared of with traditional medicine such as gall stones and kidney stones. Surgery unless it's for a bullet or stab wound etc. should be used as a last resort, particularly since antibiotic resistance is growing and MRSA in hospitals is at an all time high.

I was able to diagnose my Woman's friend with a Thyroid issue just based on her ethnicity, symptoms and age, etc. She is Japanese and does not get enough iodine. Thyroid problems are extremely common in America among Women after they pass a certain age. Japanese Women living in Japan do not have thyroid issues because they consume 10x-20x the iodine RDA.

The Dr. she went to misdiagnosed her with a kidney issue or something lengthening the time to get the proper treatment. I am not a licensed MD and frequently I am able to help friends with chronic ailments more than their PCP. The key however is to see a specialist. PCPs aren't worth jack shyt. A Urologist certainly can help you more than I can regarding kidney stones or urinary issues. But I beat most PCPs in knowledge of differential diagnosis. And I'm a fukking amateur. That's not saying a lot for our medical system.

Cause doctors ain't shyt.

Google what you think is wrong then go to the dr. That fool gone repeat almost verbatim what you have researched.

Not all, obviously.

A couple of years ago I googled where my kidney is located and asked for a sonogram on my kidneys to detect for potential stones because I had back pain in that region.

He said you are a very astute young man but my first guess based on the nature of the symptom (blunt dull pain when moving) is that it's a muscle spasm not a kidney stone. He said I've had patients with the same thing so that's why I know it's probably muscle spasm. So I took the Rx strength pain killer (Not Opiod, I specifically said no fukking opiods or benzos) and low strength muscle relaxer which worked after 2 doses.

So this is a Doctor with excellent rating on Healthgrades and Ivy League training. These are the only Docs who can beat me in differential diagnosis. I don't want a Doctor that's dumber or less knowledgeable than I am. Obviously that's a fukking problem. You'll be able to tell the experience level and maturity of the Doctor if he makes mostly NUANCED statements. Young Doctors who have no clue what they are doing (or some older ones as well) typically see things in B&W and it's either one or the other. Pay attention to the language he is using and tone.

Unfortunately I know more than most recent Med school grads which is why I would only suggest anyone go to a University clinic for a clear cut issue like an STD infection or strep throat, etc. Something with stereotypical presentation of symptoms. For anything ambiguous you'll need a veteran who has had enough experience in the field with thousands of patients and good differential diagnosis capability.
