Cause doctors ain't shyt.
Google what you think is wrong then go to the dr. That fool gone repeat almost verbatim what you have researched.
Not all, obviously.
A couple of years ago I googled where my kidney is located and asked for a sonogram on my kidneys to detect for potential stones because I had back pain in that region.
He said you are a very astute young man but my first guess based on the nature of the symptom (blunt dull pain when moving) is that it's a muscle spasm not a kidney stone. He said I've had patients with the same thing so that's why I know it's probably muscle spasm. So I took the Rx strength pain killer (Not Opiod, I specifically said no fukking opiods or benzos) and low strength muscle relaxer which worked after 2 doses.
So this is a Doctor with excellent rating on Healthgrades and Ivy League training. These are the only Docs who can beat me in differential diagnosis. I don't want a Doctor that's dumber or less knowledgeable than I am. Obviously that's a fukking problem. You'll be able to tell the experience level and maturity of the Doctor if he makes mostly NUANCED statements. Young Doctors who have no clue what they are doing (or some older ones as well) typically see things in B&W and it's either one or the other. Pay attention to the language he is using and tone.
Unfortunately I know more than most recent Med school grads which is why I would only suggest anyone go to a University clinic for a clear cut issue like an STD infection or strep throat, etc. Something with stereotypical presentation of symptoms. For anything ambiguous you'll need a veteran who has had enough experience in the field with thousands of patients and good differential diagnosis capability.
