The South.
Coming from a bio major I try not to do it. My Genetics 2 teacher said that some of the greatest innovations in the scientific world have been from an outside(non scientific) influence.

Art specifically has a chance of being a source of inspiration for scientific innovation if the STEM majors have the ability to look outside the box

Einstein himself said art is more valuable than science because if he hadnt come up with his theories, someone else would have come up with iteventually

but nobody wouldve recreated the great works of art , ever

The arts are what makes us HUMAN.

Not only that I know MANY(although mainly Cacs) with stable computer graphics jobs that pays well and they got them from liberal arts college. I also know many working in media and doing well. Its a MYTH that you will be jobless if you go for an arts degree its all about CONNECTIONS and going to a good school makes you fine those connections easier.
