Not everyone turns into a negative product of their environment. In fact now a days a lot of kids are going on to do positive shyt. And i think as time goes on even more kids are gonna be able to make it out the hood without perpetuating the bullshyt.

And yea they should phase you. But if a kid growing up in the hood allowed that shyt to phase him he would either have a mental break down or end up sitting in the house all day. You gotta adapt to survive.

I don't get it either. I also hate when people black folks brag about being a poor college student then wonder why our maturation rates are low. I also hate when black women talk about being a poor single mother. Like really you pippin your collar while you kids go hungry?
