Why do some people get more likes on Facebook then others

I think it really comes down to your actual interactions with users on your same “level” so to speak. Sometimes, interacting with a higher “level” profile will Garner you other attention, but I think consistency remains with interacting with similar users.

Like, the people who usually interact with my social media profiles (Facebook,Instagram) I also interact with them regularly, viewing their photos, etc. and this is even though I don’t post regularly. It seems like there’s always a consistent group of people that will watch something from me because I interact with them regularly.

tbh Jealous people like certain status so they don't look like haters. Especially those humble brag posts.

Also people are by and large sheep. I posted a pic on IG that gained some traction and had a lot of likes. People who don't usually care to even like anything I post were liking it because 100's of other people were.

It's why it's interesting what IG has done by hiding just how many people like a post now. it stops people from liking stuff just becasue others have.
