Why do SOME people hold such a high view of going to college

When i tell people i didnt go to college they act as if its the worst thing ever, even though some of the worlds richest people never completed college

because high school doesn't teach you everything you need to know to do certain things.

but ill give you an example, im in new york, driving a very nice car someone asks what i do i tell them, they say oh thats great etc, then ask what college i went to, i tell them i didn't, then the dissapointment sets in and then they say i should go. like why im doing what i want without it

College is not everything...some billionaires never stepped foot in college BUT (and this a HUGE but) it will increase your chance of being employed at a decent job.

Because the majority of people have an IQ of like 102 or lower lol. They think the only way to make anything of themselves is to follow this set plan. And for most people that really is the only road to success because they don't have the brain power to just self start by themselves.

If you know you get money? Don't stress it. Not everyone needs college to succeed but most people do.

Because people with degrees make more than people without them. The problem is lots of people go to college and never finish. I would say maybe 15 to 20 percent of the people I know that have sat in a college class actually got a degree
