Idk why. I'm a Sophomore right now and I'm seriously pondering dropping out. I have no reason why I'm here, I hate all my classes and college in general. But at the same time if I do drop out I have no idea what I'm going to do.
I'm in the same place fam, I feel you. My first year was hell and now it's a little better now that I switched colleges, but altogether I have zero faith in the collegiate system and want out.
U don't need college.... Pick up a trade man....not knocking college tho tried it a few times and it wasn't for me
College is one of those "coming of age" relics. At one point it was about education, now it is about job placement. I lost my taste for college when even the "advanced" courses were dumbed down for people who in all honestly shouldn't have passed high school. If I could do it all over, I would have invested some of that college money into building my business. No regrets, though, but what college I have left, im going slow. No rush to swim in debt in this job market.

i didn't say you don't or cant, im saying id rather build my land portfolio while people were going to college, so i can pay them off sooner. nothing weird about that friend

I went to college right after high school to please the fam
(I was the first to go to college)
Man.... College is NOT for everybody!
People only discuss about the studying and what to major in but they don't talk about the psychological warfare!!
From the parties, drinking (never got into that), all the extra curricular activities, sports, stress, hard af exams, pressure, trying to balance your time, etc etc
Plus, I was one of those dudes who took 18 credits and my stress level was always on 10 (did so to please the fam)
It was hard af to stay FOCUSED plus I didn't know what the tf I wanted to be (I have a lot of interests) so I changed my major a lot
....Went for 3 years at the University and dropped out
Disappointed the fam and everything
College is not for me plus I never wanted for work for somebody.
I knew from the jump I wanted to be an entrepreneur.
I also don't think traditional college are for those who are imaginative, artistic and creative
You can't put those type of people in a box because their mind is always exploring
Now I'm paying back Sallie Mae
But I'm happy with my life tho
and I learned a lot and still have my textbooks
I may go back one day just to make moms happy

Who needs high school if there are people who are successful without it? 95% of ppl with highschool degrees are more successful with those that dont have it.
This reasoning can be used for every degree after. The higher degree you have the better chance you have at being successful, it comes down to that. Of course you're going to have ppl that succeed without it and those that fail with it. That is not the norm though.
