My boy just married this chick who's been verbally and physically abusive to him over the years.

When shyt was up and down between them I used to wonder why. He's a close friend and I thought he would have told me the whole truth but he never did. It's only later after they broke up the first time that I found out homegirl was physically abusive. There was even a time when homie had a bruises to his face and I never made the connection.

Which is hard to grasp at first because homie is 5'9 200 lbs and she's a tiny little petite chick I wouldn't give her 150 lbs soaking wet.

Anyway homie had gotten with this other littcute sweetle black who worships the ground he walks on. He broke her heart several times to go back to the abusive chick and back with her and back to the abuser again. In between these breakups and makeups the abusive chick had a baby. This was 4 years ago followed but him going back and forth between her and then other chick again.

So today I see a notification from LinkedIn saying a name and lastname combination got a new position. I was like " who is that?". I looked...it's the abusive chick's first name and homies last name

Homie went and married her this time

He's Puerto-Rican. His first wife was white but besides her he's only dated black women. And black women loooove this mofo. Bunch of chicks I used to work with and I used to drool over these women when we worked together were all trying to fukk homie. That little chick who worships the ground he walks on is straight model type. Countless of bad ass black chicks were always chasing homie. The one he married is cute too but he's had some women that are straight up show stoppers.

Meanwhile I was just in a thread with somebody bragging about chicks being willing to do anything for them if they are into the dude and when I tried to tell them that was due to mental illness, they weren't hearing it.

All of this shyt is the same. When u don't have a strong sense of self-worth, you are prey in these streets.

He probably mistakes her abuse as love b/c it's some type of attention even if it's toxic. The sad part is that he would NEVER be happy with a good chick. She would be boring or lame to him.

You hate to see it but, I've seen this shyt too many times. There are tons of dudes that pledge allegiance to the pain.
I used to think it was just about looks, but I've seen ugly and average chicks get play by treating dudes like utter shyt.

These types love the chase b/c they need validation to bolster low self-esteem. It's basically male hoe mentality. If ur an evil chick looking for an easy scam, these dudes serve a purpose. Otherwise, u can't build with a hoe b/c a hoe ain't a partner.

You're probably right. Even for me, tho I don't take shyt like that but the woman whom I love the most (I've often talked about her on the forum) is probably the one that mistreated me the most.
