I don't get it, she clearly looks like a black girl, in fact she looks more black then she looks Hispanic. Yeah I know Hispanic is not a race but Cardi B has more black facial features then what most people would think a average would have.When people of Latinos they think of someone who looks like George Lopez or Jennifer Lopez.

Cardio B herself flip flops on whether she identifies as black or not, as seen in many interviews such as the infamous Vlad one and many others.

Coupled with the stereotype that Dominicans are hesitant to claim black and the fact that many people just plain don't like her and try to find some way to discredit her leads to the thought that Cardi B is not black

Personally, I think it's pretty obvious that Cardi is mixed with some African ancestry but I recognize that the concept of race is more complicated in the Caribbean and Latin America so I just identify her as Dominican and leave the rest to Caribbean and Latin American people to decide on whether Cardi B is black or not.

tl;dr: people argue that Cardi B isn't black because due to her ambiguous and contradictory position on her race, Dominicans not claiming black, and just finding a way to hate on her and I personally dgaf what she identifies cause it's not my place to speak since I'm not West Indian/Latino.

I seen a video of her household. The folks here did not look black. With that said, she has black ancestry in her for sure.
