Why do teams still have interest in Corey Brewer?

I continue to be perplexed that this guy has trade value (ESPN reporting that the Cavs and Rockets are interested in acquiring his services).

Dude might be the most average player in the entire league. He literally brings not even one above-replacement-level skill to the table at this point in his career. Always seems to end up on irrelevant squads.

Is this 2008? What is happening? Help me make sense of this, brehs.

Either way, he has no value.

He's been on Minny for 6 of his 8 years in the league. Riding the bench for the '11 Mavs was literally the single most relevant moment of his career. I'm not sure why you can't concede this point.

We can agree that his trade value is essentially zero, though.
