Dudes complaining that a team with one of the best defenses ever, personalities like the fridge and McMahon hall of famers like Payton, Singletary and Dent getting a 30 for 30.
85 Bears was one of those special teams.

People were shaking in fear to take the field against them. Matter of fact I think they almost killed Montana during the regular season.I'm tired of the worship of this team. These dudes are on this documentary talking like people were shaking in fear to even take the field against themThey were a one year wonder that played a lame Pats team in the superbowl. The 49ers dominated that decade and went in to Chicago in the Nfc championship in 88 and embarrassed those dudes on their way to winning 4 super bowls. So let's ignore the dynasty of that decade to gas up a team that had one great year. fukk outta here.

it took teams quite some time to 'catch up' to some forms of that defense, like 5 years
bears still managed to have the best scoring defense 3 out of 4 years starting in 85
and one year they havent they still were a top 3 defensive team basicallyIm sure if buddy ryan stayed in chicago for 5 more years theyd have at least another SB trip

Was watching ESPN and they were asking Steve Young about the 85 bears and it was his rookie year and he said one of the offensive coaches told him "If you have to go in the game just be careful
...you could get SERIOUSLY hurt out there"He said that is all he told him...nothing about the gameplan or the playbook...just if he had to play that game...be careful
