He doesn't really come with the bangers the way he used to. Back in the day he was dropping shyt like "We Gonna Make It", "Keep It Thoro", "Bang, Bang", "Worst Comes to Worst", "Got It Twisted" etc.

To me he's not really coming with those stand out beats anymore. His shyt nowdays is more hazier and groove orientated. It's mood music really. He's much better creating a project for someone like Curren$y or Bronson than cooking up next level bangers these days.

Also, pretty much all the most amazing samples used in hip hop have all been dug and found now, which alc had an amazing ability in finding.

nowadays you have to find some sample that had potential but wasnt strong enough on its own, and then inject it with steriods with musicians and creative mixing

good example is how just blaze made mmg self made from this paul mccartney joint

People can have different tastes breh. But they dont allow themselves to even have one. Id question anyone who listens to exclusively dusty 90s rap in 2014 as much someone who just listens to radio

Same reason people dont like any books other than Game of Thrones...or any films aside from aside whatevers been released in the last couple years....

Their appreciation for art is non-existant. You dont have to care, but dont act like living with your head-up-your-ass is a perfectly reasonable approach to consuming media and claim to have an informed opinion on anything
