Yes, the murder rate is high there for Salvadorans who involved in gang and drug life, but that's because crime is a great revenue stream there and cartels got stuff on lock. Real Salvadorans may get robbed in dangerous areas but nobody in a war zone. It's normal life and not 10x Chicago

The same for Nicaragua. Nicaragua is a country club compared to El Salvador. People who are poor in these countries have a hard time coming up. The easiest way for a poor person to move up in class and wealth is to go to America or Mexico and work and send money back home. A poor Salvadoran moving to Costs Rica for work is a come up, a poor Nicaraguan moving to Panama for work is a come up...And moving to Mexico or USA is an even bigger come up for work.

It ain't even that good of an example since the average Salvadoran ain't getting killed unless they have ties to someone who is part of a rival cartel or gang. Sorry to hear about cousin obviously.I was out at 2am in the morning walking the street, and yes it is very dangerous because people outside looking for a lick, but common sense is needed like any other place. I know about the barbwire wrapped around tall gates, and wealthy families got security guards 24/7, and businesses got they own security guards with rifles and armor, but that's because jobs are paying low wages and crime/cartels pay much,much higher
In the day to day life people not in a warzone. Everybody is working and living their life like normal. Yeah, your country overrun with delincuenten, but who's fault is it? The cartels or the government? It's economicalYou already know that when you go back home, just living in America makes you a big shot financially, you have access to funds the average person doesn't have and so does your family.
