Seems like the general consensus on this site is any woman who dates out is a sellout so the most appropriate thing to do is to demean her because she obviously hates herself and her people.

That's the dumbest logic ever though. Attraction is not something you can manipulate, you have no control over it. Just because you date someone of the opposite race does not in anyway mean you're denying your blackness, or somehow are ashamed of it. You love who you love, if someone being in a happy relationship with someone of a different race as a black woman offends you to the point where you gotta call her a bedwench you're just an awful individual. There's really no reason to debate with anyone who uses the word freely, they'll hit you with some pseudo-intellectual fake pro-black logic about destroying the black family or some other regurgitated Tariq Nasheed bullsh*t and insult you when you call them out on it. Legit waste of time.

Think about it. We are supposed to be a place that promotes black excellence, for black people, not just black men with certs and shyt. When you google bedwench, look what pops up. Not st0rmfr0nt, not kkk .com or some shyt, but us

knowing that black women were called wenches from slavery all the way through the Jim Crow era, why do we continue to use that term on here to define women? Regardless of whom they choose to sleep with, why can't we respect them enough to not use the same bullshyt against them that the white slaveowners used to justify their rape en masse? :jbhmm:
White slave owners called them wenches and justified the rape of black women because of a supposed insatiable sexual appetite, due to the hyper sexuality of the black man and the black race as a whole.

All I am saying is that although I hate when black women put black men down to glorify white men, I am not going to perpuate the white man's hate and label them as wenches. This is a term that has been thrown around way too much in history and that I don't think people on here grasp the hate that the word entails.
:heh: at the selective sensitivity. We've been using "nikka" forever and you're in here whiny about bed wench? It's just a word. Words are used to describe things. You can literally make up another term to replace bed wench and it will be just as offensive because the behavior is offensive. Just like the made up term "cac". You're deflecting.

Making up another word to replace bedwench will not have the same impact as because it will not carry the same historical connotation. And it's amazing the lengths people will go through to defend a simple word and not think about the impact of what it means when you say it.
Really acting like nikka is comparable to the use of bedwench. That's a flawed argument.

In defending common sense. I don't agree with you on any level here. The word should have impact because the behavior has impact. The truth shouldn't be denied to spare feelings. Besides, I don't even think that most people are aware of the historical connotation. Especially this younger generation. This is fake outrage used to deflect. Let's talk about the behavior that the word describes.

Then make the argument showing the the comparison to flawed. Why aren't the terms comparable?

Just yesterday it was all men who date out were sell out and c00ns regardless of why they did it. Why not black women as well?

They deserve it. If you date out you're not pro black. You're not promoting black exlence. You're not looking to raise up a stable black family. You're just a wench who dates out. Simple as that. No I'm not going to stop using the word because of it walks like a duck quacks like a duck it's obviously a duck. We can see all the women who are actually pro-black in this thread just by reading the responses as well as the white original poster.

Well for one, nikka has been accepted as a term of endearment - we men use it towards each other, the whole community uses it. I have yet to hear any one woman ever use the term bedwench to describe another woman, regardless of sexual deviancy. bytch, yes, but bedwench, no.
