i was thinking about this the other night. In the other forms of entertainment that I like (movies, tv shows, video games) I avoid the shyt out of them and would get furious if something important got spoiled. I'll easily click on wrestling spoilers though for the most part outside of maybe the surprise Rumble entrants.

i hate them nowadays.

But to be honest, it all started when wrestling was at it's height in mid-late 90's.

People couldnt wait to know what was gonna happen the following week after a live RAW the previous night.

Plus it was "cool" to be in the know, so to speak, and know what was gonna happen before it's on TV.

For shows like Smackdown, I want to know if the show is worth watching. Also sometimes a major event happens that can't be avoided (i.e. Christian losing his World Title in 2 days). We don't have the same privilege with Raw since it's live.

However for Lucha Underground and NXT, I do my best to avoid spoilers.

Read the spoilers bc I rarely watch live.
If there's a match/segment that sounds dope on paper, I'll ffwd it to that match. :manny: I cant be the only one..

I think it's worse when you have god damn titles talking about things possibly happening when things could change at any time

ex: Bullet Club
Or what about when people make up blatant bold face lies? :mjpls:

I hate spoilers. I usually avoid them. I don't have interest in watching once I know the ending. Like when the Raws are taped, if I read the spoiler, it's a 99% chance I'm not going to watch the show.

There should be a distinction made between spoilers and rumors though. This time of year, rumors get heavy, but a large amount of them aren't true. I still try to avoid them for the most part as well, but since they usually aren't coming from a reliable source, I have a better tolerance. I do hate when they are put up without proper warning though.
