I can't agree that black women are choose black men based on swag alone.

First of all, I don't even know one black woman who uses the word "swag" to describe their preference in men in real life (that is internet language). Second, you say that like a black man isn't likely her number one preference (her hell only preference) to begin with…she might weed through black men based on "swag" but that is not her reason alone.

looks and swag definitely play a role. And That is perfectly Normal. The looks, style and swag black men in america possess is part of black culture. So naturally black women being part of black culture in America will have a preference for it. Again that is perfectly normal. It is how its supposed to be!

Someone outside looking in might see these attires as exotic or interesting or whatever, but to a Nigerian it holds deeper meaning. Women adorned in buba, gele and beads is a sign of beauty and a man seeing her can be smitten with her. The same could be said about black culture/style to black Americans.

Part of me wants to agree, but another part of me wants to ask...just who are you to tell anyone what they should "naturally" be attracted to? Who are you to say that's how it's "suppose" to be for someone?

If I find the Nigerian women in these picture attractive--even more so than the styles of African American women, is that unnatural because I'm not Nigerian myself? Is it automatically relegated to a fetish for that reason and that reason alone?
